JUC enjoys a unique position in the academic Christian community worldwide. Over its 65 years of existence, the university has served a wide variety of Protestant Christian schools and students from diverse denominational backgrounds within and outside our network of consortium schools.

The board of directors, administration, and core teaching faculty of Jerusalem University College maintain an evangelical persuasion that focuses on the centrality of Christ and the authority of Scripture. Our commitment is to fulfill our educational mission within the framework of the evangelical Christian thought represented by the members of our Consortium of Associated Schools.

As a member of the National Association of Evangelicals in the United States, we believe the NAE statement of faith reflects both our mission and that of our consortium member schools.

We also recognize that our consortium schools formulate their own statements of faith that are appropriate to the unique character and tradition of each institution, and that these statements may differ in part from that of JUC or the other member schools of the consortium.
