Submitting a Birth Certificate with Apostille

As a part of our application process, Long-Term students are required to submit a copy of their birth certificate (with apostille) that we will use as part of your student visa application at the Israeli Ministry of Interior.

What is an Apostille?

An apostille is an extra level of verification for documents intended for use outside of a student’s country of origin. Each state manages this process, so it will look different depending on where you were born. Please Google/search "birth certificate apostille STATE", with the word STATE being the state (or country if outside the U.S.) that you reside in. Some states affix a stamp or seal, and others use a cover letter attached to the document. When you have obtained your birth certificate (with apostille), please submit it in your JUC Portal.
