Entrance Requirements |
|
|
All Academic For
Credit Programs |
- Must be currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program of
study
- OR
Must have completed one year of college.
- 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Complete the appropriate application.
- Be in good physical condition.
- Sign appropriate waivers of responsibility and health
statement.
- Pay the appropriate fees.
- Official transcripts from post-secondary institutions OR
- Registrar's Signature only for Associated School transfer students.

All Non-Credit Programs |
- Mature individuals 18 years of age or older.
- Complete the appropriate application.
- Be in good physical condition.
- If 50
years or more, doctor's exam and approval.
- Sign appropriate waivers of responsibility and health
statement.
- Pay the appropriate fees.

|
Policy Regarding Children |
|
- Regularly Scheduled Programs: mature 13 years of age or older are
allowed when accompanied by parent. Couples or individual parents who
bring children need to be housed off-campus at a higher fee.
- Special Programs: The decision to allow children is up to the group
leader who is arranging the program. Any program with children
needs to be housed off-campus.

Non-Discrimination Policy |

JUC does not discriminate on the basis of sex,
race, color, national or ethnic origins.
Course work involves sustained hiking in rugged terrain
to normally inaccessible places, and daily climbing of a
large amount of high and rough stone stairs and is therefore not
feasible for those with certain physical disabilities. |
