BOARD OF DIRECTORS |

Organizational Structure |
|
|
The board consists of qualified individuals from many different
fields. This helps ensure a well rounded approach to the various
issues that are faced in order to fulfill the mission of Jerusalem University
College. All members serve three-year staggered terms. The
annual meeting of the board is held in November and a second meeting is
generally held
each spring. The board functions within it's by-laws and conducts its
meetings utilizing Robert's Rules of Order. |

Executive Committee: Consists of the officers of the board, which
are the chair, vice-chair, treasurer and secretary. This committee is directly
responsible for oversight of the administration of JUC. Officers are
elected each year. |
|
|
Finance Committee: Consists of the chair of the committee, and
various members of the business and academic community that have extensive administrative and
fiduciary responsibilities within their organizations. This committee is
responsible for the oversight of the financial affairs of JUC. |
|
|
Education Committee and Consortium Membership Committee:
Consists of the chair of the Consortium of Associated Schools and the
three members from that consortium that represent
various school groupings. This committee is responsible for the
oversight of the academic affairs of JUC, which also includes the membership
of schools in the Consortium of Associated Schools. |

Consortium of Associated Schools of Jerusalem University College:
This advisory group consists of one representative from each of the more
than 100 member schools. Each year they elect the chair to represent
them on the board of directors.
Representatives from the various groupings, which include Seminaries and
Graduate Schools, Colleges and Universities, Professional Schools and Bible
Colleges, are staggered in their election and
rotate within their grouping to allow all schools an opportunity to
represent their particular section on the board of directors.

Jerusalem Advisory Council: This advisory group consists of
members of the Jerusalem community. Members may be from the business,
political, medical, religious, and academic communities. Members also
represent various Christian, Jewish and Palestinian Faith communities in
Israel.
This group meets annually with the director in Jerusalem who carries
their advice and recommendations to the board of directors. Many of
these members work very closely with the administration to provide
assistance, advice, and services to the administration and our students
on a regular on-going basis. |
