Bedouins roam the hillsides tending their flocks, Jewish worshipers
crowd the Western Wall, the Muslim call to prayer goes over the city, Christian pilgrims
walk the Via Dolorosa, people bargain at the gates and in the streets of the Old City.
They are a remarkable mixture of peoples. Christians, Jews, and Muslims all give Jerusalem
a dominate place in their daily lives because of the history that took place here.
Pilgrims, scholars, archaeologists, students, professors - all take
part in the daily unfolding of history broadcast around the world. At Jerusalem University
College many people who desire to increase their understanding of Scripture come together
to study and learn to change our world. Africans, Asians, Australians, Europeans, North
and South Americans from many countries and traditions give
JUC a unique role
to play in the lives of the students and within the cross-cultural, environment that is Jerusalem
and Israel. |
